SDI Courses

Want to try Scuba Diving but your not ready to commit to the Open Water Certification? This is the choice for you.  You will do a pool session followed by 2 open water dives in the ocean here in Playa Del Carmen.

If you are ready to become a certified Scuba Diver then this is where you start.  Our OWSD course includes elearning, 1 full day in the pool, and 2 half days on a private boat doing 4 checkout dives.

Take you diving skills to the next level with the Advanced Adventure course.  In this course you will learn about diving deeper, underwater navigation, and three other skills of your choice like drift diving, wreck diving, night diving, underwater photography, advanced buoyancy control, boat diving, etc. 

Includes: Elearning, 5 ocean dives if you choose to do a night dive, or 6 if you choose to do all dives during the daylight, all on a private boat.

This course is for the certified diver that is looking to improve or fine tune their buoyancy to prevent damage to the underwater world.

This course is for the diver that never learned how to use a personal dive computer.  You will learn all of the advantages of adding a PDC to your dive planning and what to look for when purchasing a dive computer.

This course is for divers that want to learn how to extend their No Decompression Time Limits by breathing nitrox between 22 and 40 percent.  This can be completed as a non-diving specialty for a discounted price.  Can also be completed with ANY other diving specialty for a discounted price.

This course is for certified divers that would like to take their diving adventures deeper.  You will learn how to plan and execute dives from 60 feet to 130 feet.

This course is for certified divers that would like to learn how to properly plan and execute a drift dive.  The SDI Drift Diver Course covers the “how-to’s” of drift diving from, how to enter and exit drifts, what to do if you get caught in a drift and wish to get out, how to get out of the drift to observe something special, and much more.

This course is for certified divers that want to know what goes bump in the night... underwater. 

This course will teach you the procedures, techniques, and potential hazards associated with night diving.

Have you ever wanted to dive with two tanks at the same time?  The SDI sidemount certification will teach you how to set up and use the sidemount configuration for open water scuba diving.

Includes: elearning, 2 dives in an open water cenote and 2 dives on a private boat in Playa Del Carmen. 

Underwater Navigation is one of the most important, yet under utilized and unappreciated skills in scuba diving.  This course will help take your diving to the next level with a higher understanding of underwater direction and navigation.

The SDI Wreck Diver Course will discuss the equipment and techniques commonly employed while wreck diving. This course may be taught as a non-penetration, 2 dives required, or as a limited-penetration course, requiring 3 dives. Limited-penetration is defined as a swim through or within the ambient light of entry point.
