Advanced Buoyancy Diver

This course is all about making certified divers better divers.  Have you ever looked at an Instructor or a Divemaster or just another diver in the water and though that they make diving look effortless?  It's because those divers have MASTERED buoyancy control.  And this course can help you master it as well.

• Certified SDI Open Water Scuba Diver, SDI Junior Open Water Scuba Diver,  or equivalent.
• Minimum age of 18, or 10 with parental consent.

• How to do a proper weight check and make sure you are diving with the right amount of weight for the diving conditions.
• How to fine tune your breathing cycle, which will help extend your bottom time.
• How do make small changes to your breathing to help raise or lower yourself in the water or to remain in place.

This is the first of the four specialties that we recommend every diver to take because it is completely focused on making you a better, more efficient and more skilled diver.
